About the Stow Symphony Orchestra
Since 1998, the Stow Symphony Orchestra has enriched Northeast Ohio through exceptional performances that celebrate both the timeless beauty of classical music and the creativity of today’s composers. Led by Music Director and Conductor Darrell Lee Music, the orchestra creates inspiring musical experiences that are welcoming, accessible, and meaningful for audiences of all ages.
Led by Artistic Vision
- Directed the orchestra's Ohio premiere of Joan Tower's Made in America, later awarded the 2008 Grammy for Best Classical Contemporary Composition
- Led the orchestra in commissioning and premiering new works by composers such as Jamie Wilding and Keith Lay
- Has programmed works by renowned living composers, including Eric Ewazen and Roger Zahab
